This design is also applied to large-scale FPV plants. It has structures of pontoon-type floats with carbon steel frames, upon which PV panels are mounted at a fixed tilt angle as with land-based systems, but to affix the structures to pontoons, which serve only to provide buoyancy. In this case, there is no need for specially designed main floats.

About this design pattern, we choose carbon steel to support solar panels with respect to its strength, non-toxicity, and durability, strong corrosion resistance and easy installation.
